Margaret Ashley
Margaret has worked in all aspects of the media including various other fringe theatres, starting out at The Gate Theatre playing Bridget Hitler in Hitler in Liverpool. Margaret has played roles as diverse as Hotspur in Heny IV to ‘taking off’ Margaret Thatcher in Who Killed Monica Britt. Work in televison includes Coronation Street, The Bill, London’s Burning, Michael Winners Strange But True, First Among Equals, Our John Willie, The Ward, Wyatt’s Watchdogs, Crimewatch and more. Other work includes Corporates, Commercials, Film, Voice-Over and Radio. She most recently appeared at the Tristran Bates Theatre in Tinned Goods, a Promo Commercial for the All England Lawn Tennis Club Museum and Smooth Radio Commercial with Michael Bouble. |
Rachel Summers
Rachel graduated from Central School of Speech and Drama in 2010, completing a MA Acting for Screen course and beforehand, trained at A.L.R.A. Since leaving Central, she has been involved in various theatre productions which include Love Isn’t Enough at The Tricycle Theatre, Asylum Monologues at The Colour House Theatre and Dante: The Inferno at the Leicester Square Theatre. She has voiced television commercials for Worldstores furniture and Jacqueline Wilson book Emerald Star. She has also featured in teen horror film The Coven and independant film Calloused Hands which opened the 2013 British Urban Film Festival. |
Simon Every
Simon Every graduated from Drama Centre London in 2012. Stage credits includes Multicast in The Ballad of Maximus and Audencia (The Bush Theatre), Matty in Should I Stay or Should I Go (The Warren, The Roundhouse) and Ciaran in A Wake (Theatre503). This project involves two exciting firsts for Simon, working with Open Page Theatre and at The Etcetera Theatre. |
Sibylla Meienberg
Since graduating from East 15 Acting School, Sibylla has worked for numerous theatre companies including tours of Macbeth and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead across Europe. Other theatre credits include Jacques and His Master, The White Bear, The State of Mind of Ghosts (Chelsea Theatre), See No Evil (Southwark Playhouse), In Her Little Room (Riverside Studios) and Love's Metamorphosis. Sibylla has also appeared in a number of short films, including Talion-Face to Face, Two is a Couple, Three is a Crowd and A Fata Morgana and in the features Revenge and Too Much Too Young. |

Daniel Robert Leigh
When Daniel found out that a friend in junior school had appeared in an episode of Eastenders, it was then that he realised all he wanted to do was act. Having since performed in various plays, t.v & short films, this is his second time performing at the etcetera theatre, having last done so in 2006. Daniel's most recent work was appearing in the Amnesty International advert for the anti-torture Campaign. |
Bernard O'Sullivan
Bernard was educated at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge and the Open University. He was called to the Bar in 1971 and has been in private practice since then. He took a year out to train as an actor with the Actors Company in 2005-2006. Since then he has appeared in a number of short films and in plays, most recently in July this year as Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night at the Rosemary Branch Theatre. |

Miranda Colmans
Miranda trained at The Bridge Theatre Training Company. Professional stage credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth, The Flies, Timeshare, House of Atreus and Knackerman. She has appeared at the Edinburgh, Brighton and Camden Fringe Festivals. Miranda has worked on a number of short films including “The Madness of the Dance”, TV programmes including Derren Brown’s Trick or Treat and films such as “Sweeney Todd. Joe Potter
Joe is delighted to be returning to the stage for Alice Springs. He trained on the Acting BA at Arts Educational. Since graduating he has appeared as 'Osric' in Principle Theatre's version of Hamlet, various characters in Sheer Drop's Plays What Yew Wrote, a Lucozade advert as well as a couple of walk on film roles and some voice over work. His most recent appearance was in Certain Dark Things R & D production of The Circus where he got his first chance to play with puppets! He has truly enjoyed working with Open Page Theatre and loves the simplicity of his costume. |
Almost The Birthday Party
Gil Sutherland
Gil trained at the Webber Douglas as an LCC Scholarship student from 1959/61 and won the Rodney Millington Spotlight Award for outstanding performances in his final year. Since then, he has worked in every branch of the industry and enjoyed a long career as a "jobbing actor". His last theatre credit was as Mr Grouvier in African Gothic at the Arcola Theatre and he has just completed a run at Theatre 503 in the new play Blind Eye playing Otto Muller. He completed roles in three feature films in 2013, A Miss in her Teens, POV, and Two Down. He recently completed two surreal short films and played Lt George Stout in Raiders of the Lost Art for the Yesterday Channel. |
Roger Sansom
Roger was born in Worcester, has been an actor since the '60s, appearing across the British Isles and elsewhere, and on radio and television. He has done plays by Sophocles, Shakespeare, Chekhov, Ibsen, Coward, Priestley, Strindberg, Shaw etc, and recently played in Marlowe's Edward II. He thinks it is good for him to be in a new play this time! He recently got smothered in cake for a charity film. |
